New Hartford, NY – Sangertown Square will host the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision recruitment event for the Mohawk Valley area.
The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision is recruiting individuals 21 years of age and older for the upcoming Corrections Officer Trainee Exam and will have a recruitment table in Center Court.
Recruitment Schedule:
- September 3rd 10am – 9pm
- September 4th 10am – 9pm
- September 5th 10am – 9pm
- September 6th 10am – 9pm
- September 7th 10am – 9pm
- September 8th 11am – 6pm
- September 11th 4pm – 7pm
- September 18th 2pm – 5pm
Correction Officers receive health, leave, and retirement benefits. Candidates who successfully complete the eight week Correctional Services Training Academy and their probationary period are eligible to earn up to 16 college credits. Corrections Officer positions are located throughout the state of New York.
